Vespasian Security Ltd. holds SIA approved Contractor Status for the provision
of Door Supervision and Security Guarding services.
Andrew began his security career back in 2004 when he gained his first SIA Door Supervisor licence. Since then Andrew has seen his fair share of deployments working for a number of companies in a number of roles. It was the specialist roles that drew Andrew’s interest. From retail security to foot and vehicle response, Andrew has done it all.
In recent years he has worked for a leading independent aviation maintenance contractor within the role of security. This aviation security role also called for Andrew to train as a fully-fledged aviation fire fighter.
Since 2012 Andrew has worked as part of Vespasian’s operational teams and has been entrusted with much of Vespasian’s lengthy ‘Build and Break’ security details at festivals and events within the role of Supervisor. 2017 has seen Andrew win promotion to the position of Area Manager.
“There are few security companies out there like Vespasian. I have worked for many companies and you can feel the difference when you are part of the Vespasian team. When I first started in the security industry, career progression was a challenge for many of my colleagues at other companies. I am proof that career progression in the security industry and specifically at Vespasian is not only possible but achievable. I have always been proud to be part of the Operational Vespasian Team and now as a manager, this will only increase with each new success.”
Fact about Andrew:
Andrew enjoys Sporting Shooting which he uses on clay shooting ranges. Andrew also played rugby for Hampshire as a school boy.
We have never worked with a contractor from ANY area of the festival who is so dedicated to providing a first class service.
Glad to see some friendly faces. When security greet you with a smile and a friendly hello, it’s hard not to give back and treat them with respect. Starting exchanges on the right foot makes a difference. Glad to see a security team that give the impression that they’re on ‘our’ side.
Vespasian has been with us from the start and we work well together as a team. We meet regularly to discuss service provision and they are flexible enough to meet our changing needs. Their expertise and experience of the industry have been invaluable to us and to the success of our venue.
