In October 2021, Vespasian Security planned on recruiting Stewards, Hospitality Staff and Door Supervisors at Portsmouth University’s Student Union Freshers Fayre. On day one of the week-long fayre, Vespasian not only had the originally planned recruitment stall, but also a team of Door Supervisors and Stewards securing the entire site!
Although it was last minute, our team had the best time meeting the applicants throughout the week. Staff both on deployment and at the stall were able to give students first hand accounts of their work with us, explain upcoming events and list past ones.
The week at the University was successful, ending the week with new teams in stewarding and hospitality.
